Dance Camp

For a week this month Jamison got to participate in a dance camp at West high in Salt Lake. He had so much fun in his boys Hip Hop group (consisting of him and another little boy)
and the girls on the dance team were so fantastic with all the kids. I was very impressed. I also have to say that I LOVED the school. It totally felt like home for me. In fact Terry liked it so much he is looking into the possibility of teaching there in the near future.
Anyhow back to dance. So the kids spent 3 days learning dances and then got to preform at half time during the football game that Friday night. We were nervous that with all the people and noise and lights Jamison might freak out but he didn't. he got out there and came alive. We were so proud of him, he did such a great job.
The backlash of all this time spent with high school teenage girls with lots of school spirit is that Jamison now chants a few school cheers. But that's OK, it makes us laugh every time.

This is a great shot of Jamison and his favorite "teacher", Chen. She was awesome and he just loved her.

This is the whole Hip Hop group. Alex, I forgot the first girl on the lefts name, Alma, Chen, and Jamison

Zach Turns 16!!

Terry was so excited to fly out to Kentucky for Zach's birthday. Not only was he excited to get to see him but with Zach turning 16 that meant it was time to ordain him to the office of Priest at church. They had a great weekend. They got to spend a lot of time together and Terry got to meet Zach's good friend Lindy and her sister who both recently joined the church.
While Jamison and I were sad we weren't able to make the trip, we were so happy Terry got to go out and be with Zach for this milestone birthday.

Labor Day

This past labor Day we got to take Jamison on his first Fishing trip. Fortunately Terry's parents were in town so they joined in the fun along with Rhonda and Verl and gang and Auntie Jenna. We went the easier route and fished at trout farm in Ogden that Verl knew of. It was a really fun farm. Much better than what I had expected.

Later that day we headed down to Salt Lake to watch a Bee's game. Jamison had been asking for quite some time to go to "Take me out to the ball game" and was so excited to get to go again finally.

The game just isn't complete without a train ride and a bag of cotton candy.
