Snowman

It is crazy how little snow we have had so far this winter but we did get enough the other day to build a real snowman. There is Terry and Jamison's handy work for all to enjoy. I would like to note that is has been up for 2 days and now it is raining so he is slowly going away. What is the deal, we want our snow!!!

Gingerbread House

Jamison has been asking to do a gingerbread since the end of October when they started showing up in the stores. Well we finally got one last Friday, he was so thrilled. We didn't actually get a chance to do it until last Monday night for family home evening. So needless to say he was beyond excited to do this project. The anticipation was more then this 3 year old could handle :) He could barely hold still to do the decorating, he was bouncing every here saying, "this is so awesome!!" Well once it was finished he looked it over, announced again how awesome it was, let out a huge sigh and asked, "Now we can eat it?" Such a silly boy. Later that night in his prayers he said, "Thank you we could make our ginger bread house, It is SO COOL!!, and Jenna fell asleep." He was a little sad because Jenna had fallen asleep on the couch after a very long day at work and was unable to participate in the gingerbread experience.

Sewing Scraps

Who knew sewing scraps could be so much fun. Jamison playing with the "leftovers" from Zach throw blanket I was sewing for Christmas.

Oh Buzz, your such a good friend.

Salt Dough Ornaments

Jamison has a ball making these ornaments for his grandparent gifts this year. It was our first time using salt dough and we loved it.

Dry Ice

We were so lucky to receive a gift in the mail last week from Kathy. It was a beautiful package from Omaha Steaks. She has no idea how truly awesome and timely that gift is. But the best part is that this ended up being the gift that kept on giving. In the bottom of that package was a huge block of dry ice. Terry and Jamison has tons of fun playing with it.

Celebrate

Today Terry finished his last project for his Masters Degree at Western Governors University. He is basically finished now. All done, wow. He does have a test take still but no more papers, projects, assignments, it's all done. He has worked very hard for the past 2 and a half years and we are very proud of him. It is truly a challenge to go to school while working full time and raising a family. I am glad to see him get to take a little break for now, next up he wants to get his PhD . Good work and congrats!! We love ya lots!!

Nighty Night

I had literally given Jamison his sandwich walked out of the room for like 1 minute and was called back in by Terry to find this, he was knocked out cold!! Maybe we need to keep the naps after all.
