Track and Field

This Saturday the theme of Jamison's Sports Clinic was "Track and Field"
They had a relay racy, discos and shotput (Frisbee and tennis ball toss), long jump, and hurdles to jump and run under. Then after all was said and done we went down to the Gateway. Jamison has been asking everyday for over a week to go see How To Train A Dragon again so Terry took him to see it while I went to watch Date Night. Then we went and had some Fish. Jamison has also been asking to have "Fish" quite a bit. I think it is because the Pteranodon family on Dinosaur Train are constantly singing, hunting, and eating fish. That is one of his favorite shows. Fun day.

Soccer

Today at Jamison's Sports Clinic the kids got to try playing soccer. Oh how I love watching the kids running all over the place trying so hard to do whatever they've been shown to do. It is kind of crazy but they're having fun and it is pure entertainment for the parents.
How much do you love that over sized soccer ball. I don't know why it makes me laugh.

A much needed water break :)

Temple Square

Today after Jamison's Sports Clinic we decided to go let him run around Temple Square for a while. With spring in the air, sort of :), the beautiful flowers are starting to bloom and the grounds are just gorgeous and smell Heavenly. In fact I couldn't help but tear up as I walked around taking in the wonderful sent of all the flower and thought how much it reminded me of my grandmothers yard. Anyhow, I look forward to seeing everything in full bloom within the next few weeks. This is the best time of year to visit Temple Square!!

Terry took a few pictures of the many beautiful flowers around Temple Square

Sports Clinic

Today was the first day of Jamison's Tiny Tots Sports Clinic at the Central Salt Lake Rec Center. We were very happy with the center and their staff . It is was very hard to find any sport activity for a 2 or 3 year old age group so when Terry found this we were very excited.

Jamison had such a great time. We got there a little early so he could acclimate to his surrounding. He quite enjoyed this over sized soccer ball. Once the class started he did a great job listening and following instructions. He can't wait to go back next Saturday. When I asked him if he had fun and wanted to come back again he said, "Please!!!".

Super fun. And yes I will admit I had to force myself not to cry when the class started. it is just so crazy to see yur baby growing up.
